Thankful Thanksgiving
This year we spent Thanksgiving in San Juan county. We arrived Wednesday afternoon and relaxed from our 6 hour drive. The next day we had a not so typical Thanksgiving. It all began in the morning when we set up the Nativity scenes and ate a delicious breakfast. After everyone was awake and moving we ventured west to Moki dug way where we hiked to the nativity ruin. We had a short devotional and headed back to our vehicles where a delicious lunch of honey baked ham and yummy potatoes was waiting. We finished our adventure with a drive through Valley of the Gods. Upon arriving home David, Chandler and I had a wonderful evening with the Palmers and their homemade pies (Kim's lemon pie rocks!). Friday we had our perfect Thanksgiving feast. Turkey, potatoes, yams, green bean casserole and pie. That evening we played games and watched movies. Saturday we celebrated 2ND Christmas (2ND Christmas is a tradition of David's family where we have a treasure hunt, sometimes it is called Indian Christmas). We also had a yummy dinner of homemade Rafe Rio! That night we packed up and left bright and early Sunday morning. It was a wonderful holiday. It is great to know we have such wonderful family that loves us so much!

PRUNES!!
The other day I was feeding Chandler some yummy purnes and chatting on the phone with an interested rentie. Durning this rare multitasking event the rentie asked me to jot down his phone number. Having to walk across the room for a peice of paper I decided to just sit the prunes on the edge of the high chair. I quickly stood up and found the paper. I jotted the number down and this is what I came back to.............. Disaster! Prunes were everywhere. On the floor, the wall, the counter tops! Who would have thought Chandler could reach so far. Well I guess we live and learn!
