Relay for Life

This last Friday was the Relay for Life all-nighter.  We had a great time at the Walgreen's booth supporting local families affected by cancer.
The Walgreen's tent.  We threw this baby together Friday morning.......

Caregiver and Survivor lap.  I realized that cancer doesn't care who you are.  There were people of all ages young children, young parents, grandparents and every age in between.  It was very sobering during the silent walk to see how many people in our community have been affected.

We had some fun, ate good food, talked with friends and walked our laps.  We walked laps for Dillan a little boy from Chandlers school who passed away from leukemia in April. And we walked some special laps for Grandpa Black. :)

Chatting with some friends, drinking pop and eating snacks.

This is Doug he is one of David's employees.  He is a talker and hilarious.  He was willing to stay all night for the Walgreen's team.
We didn't leave until 12:30am and Brinlee was still going a hundred miles and hour.  We put her in the truck and she was asleep before we got home.  She was so tired she couldn't take the sucker out of her mouth.  We had to pry it from her when we got home.  Ha AH!

We had a great time and can't wait until next year.
